EINPresswire.com, January 12, 2023 - BRUSSELS, BRUSSELS, BELGIE — "While naturally and human-made catastrophes continue to occur, both in so-called 'developed' countries and those on the path to 'development,' it has never been more true that religions must help each other to first cope with the situations and then inspire and implement resilient solutions to put an end to those catastrophes caused by humans and to better predict those caused by mother nature," said Ivan Arjona, President European Office of the Church of Scientology for Public Affairs.
Arjona provided a number of films that demonstrate how Scientology Volunteer Ministers assist organisations of many religions, as well as religious leaders from Christianity, Islam, and other faiths expressing gratitude for the collaboration.
A video on the Scientology website emphasises the value of ecumenical and community service by Scientologists. For instance, read more it highlights the work of the Scientology Volunteer Ministers (VMs) of Mexico during the height of the COVID outbreak, when the pastor of Horeb Presbyterian National Church expresses gratitude to the Scientologists for keeping his church safe for his congregation.
Scientologists created a corps of Volunteer Ministers to ensure the safe functioning of places of worship of all denominations in Mexico in reaction to COVID, which made it exceedingly difficult for churches of all denominations to function. "We are aware of how vital it is at all times, but especially in times of crisis and uncertainty, to have a firm reference point that helps you maintain composure and find answers to difficult situations. This is what houses of worship give, thus during COVID in particular, we could not afford to have so many people without a place to receive spiritual guidance and inspiration, therefore our church members everywhere pulled up their sleeves," added Arjona.
According to the official Scientology website, volunteers from the National Church of Scientology of Mexico in Mexico City gave aid, stability, and security to the religious community in the nation's capital.
